Hey, Emma, I’m thinking about adapting it for the screen. Care to read for Amanda Jean?

…got her groove back. And I’m proud to say, she’s won her fair share of admirers. sWitch has been receiving lots of positive reviews, and even a few raves. Well, there’s one who didn’t really take to the dark, literary kitsch that chooses to zig where a glut of contemporary genre fiction zags, but even they had to finish the book to find out how everything turned out. They even said there was an audience for the kind of shenanigans the Ducharmes get up to, even if they weren’t a member of it. Sound criticism if you ask me, and I’ll take it.
But there’s something I still don’t understand: if you begin reading something and you find you hate the characters–and in doing so, quickly determine that the book is not for you–why finish it? Moreover, why burn with the need to go to the product page and rant about how much it wasn’t your cup of tea? To be fair, the reviewer I’m alluding to was directed by one of those rave reviews I was talking about, so maybe it was a warning to others of similar taste. Fair enough. Better than a patronizing on the head, I guess.
Before I go, I’d just like to say that, for everyone out there who took the time to read sWitch, I am deeply humbled and I thank you dearly. Whether you liked it or not, you did me a great service and I hope I’ve given you enough reason to come back for more.

The studious and irrepressible Rhonny Reaper has offered her thoughts on the book and posted them at her super cool blog site Dollar Bin Horror. She writes:
“This has to be one of my favorite novels that I’ve reviewed so far. Not only does it take our perception of a “normal” family and turn it on it’s side, it completely flips it around and takes it to a whole new level of dark humor.”
Check out what else she had to say over at Dollar Bin Horror. Thanks, Rhonny!
