  • The days before video games: Episode 3

The individual you see in the photo above is what we used to refer to as “it”. Anyone could be it. You, your sister, your brother, your best friend, the kid down the street – all it took was a touch of a finger. At that point, it was your duty to make someone else it. It was kind of like playing “infection”, or “cooties”. You didn’t have to have a mask on, but we sometimes did. It made it scarier to be chased. And being scared and being chased was all the action our young, healthy, well-exercised, adrenal glands could handle.

  • The Days Before Video Games: Episode 2

These days you’d need about fifty hours worth of “unlocking tricks” to pull this off. Back in the day, we just needed jeans you didn’t need for school and a decent tuck and roll. Unless you had knee pads, although you didn’t always remember to pull them up from your ankles.

  • Dunk rock

That’s it. That’s the punchline. Switching it up!

And hey, check out this tremendous review of my book over at author Poppet. I think she breaks it down with the best of them. YEAHHHRRRGH!

  • What Happens at the Spokane Washington Senior Community Center…

…stays at the Spokane Washington Senior Community Center. You know what rocks? The way the lovely in tights had a trashcan between her legs, yet kept on drinking.

  • I think a draw…

    …was a fair result.

  • Winner of the Junior…

  • A time to gather with good friends…

…and flip them the bird. For all of us here at Yellow Horse Productions and Publishing, have a safe and happy New Year. And when you’re looking up into the fireworks, think about what lies beyond in that grand, dark universe full of brilliance and possibility. We’re bit players here, but we’re important as long as we don’t forget that we’re part of something greater that can easily be found within ourselves.

Now, bring your eyes back to the earth before you fall over and go back inside–there’s cheer to be had. We’ll see you after the big sWitch.

  • Thug Life…

    …Lite.

If you missed the latest review of sWitch, don’t be a square.

  • Lickin’ it…

    …old skool.

Hey, guess what? I had a birthday today! And I feel no hate, no bitterness, no anger, and no disappointment; all is well with my soul. I feel nothing but gratitude, joy, wonderment, and awe in everything that was, is and could be, and all that I’ve seen. I ask nothing that I do not already know, want nothing that I do not have, and give everything to everyone because all of you are stars. Each and every one of you.

    Forever.

  • Pyoo, pyoo…
